Tulla Utd U12 White Team were in action on Tuesday in the preliminary round of the  Cup against a skilful Avenue side. It was the lads first game in 11-a-side football. The big pitch and bigger goal mouth meant there was always going to be goals in this game. That turned out to be the case. 

A 13-goal thriller with extra time entertained the crowd. It was over and back with each team scoring, and no one was getting too far ahead. The game ended 4 all in normal time. Goals from Gus Sheehy x2, Michael Olumuyiwa, Marcus McCarthy. Tulla was buzzing for extra time, and everyone was supporting and working for each other. They built up a 3 goal lead in the first half of extra time. Avenue wasn't done yet, though, and piled on the pressure in the 2nd half in a valiant effort. 

Avenue got 2 back, but Tulla held on for a great win. Joyous scenes were seen at the end, and Tulla move on to the next cup game. Goals in extra time from Michael Olumuyiwa, Thomas Hogan and Emmet Reilly. 

We had 18 lads togged out, which was great to see.
