Our U13 Blue Team came out on top in a 10 goal thriller v Moher Celtic in Lahinch on Friday night. It was a rollercoaster for Tulla with Luke Hassett opening the scoring early in the first half from a well delivered Clayton O Toole corner. The game was end to end and Moher equalised soon after. Luke scored a second to put Tulla ahead again, but again Moher equalised almost immediately. Moher then went ahead from a free and it was 3 -2 to the home side when the ref blew the whistle for half time.
After a reset at half time and the addition of some fresh legs, Tulla began the second half on the front foot and their prolonged spell of pressure resulted in a third goal for Luke who was having a great evening up front. Tulla kept pushing forward and eventually took the lead again with a well worked 4th goal for Luke. Moher then took the initiative and after a spell of pressure scored a fantastic goal from outside the box curling into the top corner. Sean O Keefe in goals could do nothing to stop it. 
At 4 all entering the last 10 minutes, the Tulla lads rallied again, and after a series of well taken corners from Ben Collins McCarthy, the pressure finally payed off, with a corner to the back post being met be an in rushing Steven Kelly who connected beautifully and fired a volley to the back of the Moher net.
5-4 to Tulla with 5 mins on the clock. Learning from earlier in the game, the Tulla lads kept their foot on the gas and in the final minute, a weaving run from Weyinimi down the right wing , and a perfectly executed cross was met by Ben at the back post to make it 6 -4 to Tulla. After a very even first half it was very encouraging to see the increased work rate from Tulla which paid off to keep them on top of the league as we approach the midpoint of our league campaign. Well done to Moher also, who played their part in this thrilling game.
